MLM Marketing Systems - Friend Or Foe?

If you've been involved with internet marketing or online MLM for any time now I'm sure you've been told many times that you need a marketing system if you're going to succeed.
I agree with that wholeheartedly.
However, not all marketing systems are created equal and not all marketing systems are going to work perfectly all the time.
Hence, the title of this article.
If you want to be successful building your MLM business online, you will need a marketing system.
That's what I intend to teach you how to have.
There are people all over the internet offering you proven MLM marketing systems that practically guarantee you overnight success.
They show you numerous examples and testimonials on their website to prove to you just how awesome their system is.
Have you ever noticed though, that they all have disclaimers on their sites somewhere stating that there are no guarantees that you will obtain the same level of success using their system.
Maybe you have never noticed these disclaimers before because they're usually tucked away in the fine print somewhere on the site.
They're usually preceded by some statement about how they have to put this disclaimer on their website because of legal requirements, which of course is true.
But, it kind of implies that you don't have to believe what the disclaimer states because after all, it's just there for legal reasons.
The truth is, if you're looking at a marketing system that has been around for a year or more, you more than likely WILL NOT achieve the same results as the creator of the system and those who started using the system shortly after it was first created.
Do you know why this is? Let me explain.
You see, I've been doing internet marketing for years and systems always follow the same course after they're created.
When first created, a new marketing system (and I'm referring to turnkey marketing systems that charge a membership fee) is usually promoted heavily by the creator(s) which generally creates a high amount of success for them.
After all, everyone's looking for the latest, greatest system to make them rich, right? Then, the initial group of people who sign up and start using the system usually have a considerable amount of success too.
That's where all those wonderful testimonials come from.
But then something happens.
More and more people start using the system and the results start dropping off.
Do you know why this is? It's because as more and more people start using the system, the market gets saturated with ads, emails, and all the other various promotion methods all leading to the same lead capture pages being used by everyone.
So am I saying don't use a marketing system? Absolutely not! What I am saying is that if at all possible, you need to create your own marketing system.
It's really not that hard to do and I'm can show you how to do it.
The first thing you need to do is learn how to create you own lead capture pages.
This is probably the most important thing in creating your own marketing system because this is the first think your leads will see and you don't want them seeing the same page that thousands of others are advertising too.
Next, you want to create a sales page or video that prospects will see after opting into you capture page.
This sales page or video need to give compelling reasons and benefits that will show your prospect why you and your company are who they should join up with.
Believe it or not, especially if you're using a sales video that you've created, don't think that it has to be perfect like it was created by some big time advertising firm.
You see people really don't join businesses as much as they join other people.
They want to get to know you.
They want to find out if you are someone they can trust and count on to be there for them.
Those are things that you can really show your prospect by creating a personal sales video.
After your sales page and/or video, you can send your prospect directly to a sign-up page but there is something better.
At this point in your marketing system you want to make personal contact with your prospect in some way.
Preferably by phone.
This allows you to further build that personal relationship with your prospect.
That's really all there is to creating your own marketing system.
Some of it can seem difficult but with all the tools that are available now, you should be able to come up with something good relatively easy, If you just don't have the time or patience to build your own system, you can use one of the turnkey systems out there but you need to at least do some research before picking the one you want to use.
You need to find a system that allows you to customize as much of the system as possible.
At the very least, you need to be able to totally customize your lead capture pages.
I explained why earlier; but, just to remind you, as more and more people start using the same system you're using, your target audience is going to start seeing the same lead capture pages everywhere they look.
When this happens, the effectiveness and the conversion rate of those lead capture pages are going to be less and less.
